As you may have heard by now, the Jazz re:freshed Scrapbook, is a photography & art centered publication, featuring a free album of music recorded live at the Jazz re:freshed Mau Mau Bar weekly sessions.
The idea is to create a cultural scrapbook, archiving and documenting Jazz re:freshed visually, sonically and in words, whilst also creating an opportunity for patrons to submit content and be more connected to the movement. It features contributions from numerous Jazz re:freshed attendees, who have kindly submitted their photos, words, experiences, etc.
This first edition is a retrospective of the first eleven years of Jazz re:freshed, taking you back to the beginning and up to the end of 2014. The FREE album attached to the front cover of this first edition – JAZZ RE:FRESHED LIVE VOLUME ONE – has tracks recorded live at Mau Mau, featuring:

In a world that is becoming increasingly digital, we have a thing for the tangible here at Jazz re:freshed HQ. This project was always going to be about the beauty of print, although an e-book version will be available at a later date.
