It wouldn’t be JAZZ RE:FEST if we didn’t have a United80 pop-up shop and it certainly wouldn’t be JAZZ RE:FEST if we didn’t have music, clothing and cake available, so this year we have an abundance of all three. As ever we will be selling Jazz re:freshed tees, hoodies and jackets (at special discounted prices), as well as independent designer items. We’ll also have music on sale, and of course, we will be treating you to the tastiest cupcakes in town, with Cupcakes by Betty. Expect a selection of classic and unusually different flavours from:
VANILLA – CHOCOLATE – PINA COLADA – LEMON DRIZZLE – BANOFFEE – TEA & BISCUIT – RUM & RAISIN – 99 – BLUEBERRY
As a wise woman said to me once, events are about community and United80 are at the centre of ours. It’s pretty much our favourite shop and purveyors of culture, in the world.
United80 is a joint collaborative store that features three independent brands: N’Damus– bespoke and off the peg hand made bags and accessories, GeoD by Samantha-J off the peg fashion design and Hands On Music– independent music retail and merchandise. The shop also serves as a place to be around like-minded and create folk, as well as a reference station for knowledge on alternative fashion, music and culture, with info I’m pretty sure you won’t find in the British Library!
Cyndi and Chris aka Man vs Wife aka Hands On Family and Samantha-Jane Ofoegbu aka Geometric Designs are pillars of the scene, whose knowledge of music, fashion and the cultures that surround it, have become a nucleus of the scene, around which many gravitate for knowledge and support.
Deejays, fashionistas, music connoisseurs, retailers, creatives, promoters – United 80 are a very talented, industrious and above all, vitally important crew.
