ERIC LAU, DEGO, DAZ I KUE & STEVE AUSTIN
Ladies and Gentlemen, we present the DJ’s for the night.
Eric Lau is a London-based producer, known for his work with an array of international artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Chris Dave, Guilty Simpson, Oddisee, Muhsinah, Kaidi Tatham, Olivier Daysoul, and a family of artists from London including Dego, Tawiah, Rahel and Fatima.
In addition to his production work he is also a well-respected DJ having toured the world as well as supported acts such as Erykah Badu, Questlove and Robert Glasper. As well as being the sound engineer for LA based BTS Radio, he has also provided mixes for renowned music platforms such as RBMA Radio, Put Me On It and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide.

Resident of London, UK, Dego is probably best known as part of 4 Hero (which he formed together with Marc Mac). He has been making music for years, with his style evolving from Drum ‘n Bass through a gambit of genres, to the Broken Beated style which is most evident in his present releases.
He has been active in numerous other groups, including DKD, Plutonia, Nu Era, Da One Away and Silhouette Brown. He has also released music as a solo artist under aliases like Cousin Cockroach, Pavel Kostiuk, Nutmeg and MM Black.
As a DJ, Dego is in demand globally and is also reknowned for his exclusive mixes.

Daz-I-Kue, a Londoner and now Atlanta resident, and a member of the world respected production crew Bugz In The Attic, who have remixed the likes of Macy Gray, Soul II Soul and 4 Hero, is widely seen as one of the pioneers broken beat genre. A vinyl junky from the age of 5, he’s a DJ, producer, sound engineer and promoter, widely seen as the hardest working man in West London and now Atlanta, GA his new home.
Daz-I-Kue has played an integral role in the production of the Co-Op Miami and world famous Bugz vs. Jazzanova WMC parties since their inception in 2003. With Bugz in the Attic, he has released the magnificent “Got the Bug” remix LP on Virgin’s V2 label to massive critical acclaim. The Co-Op party in London’s Shoreditch won the Best Club Event award at the first-ever Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards.

Steve Austin is a veteran DJ, Producer and MC from various groups and crews, most recently the Uprock Recordings collective. A regular DJ at the Jazz re:freshed residency, Steve Austin’s range is wide and his crates are deep, as is his knowledge of music. Principally known as a Hip Hop specialist, he is equally as comfortable on the decks when playing jazz, rare groove, soul, reggae, broken beat, latin… you name it!
